Welcome to The Family Center of Knoxville
I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Knoxville, TN. I have been working as a licensed professional with individuals and families to improve their lives since 2009. I recently returned to Knoxville and opened The Family Center of Knoxville (TFCknoxville). Serving the Knoxville area community, TFCknoxville provides individual therapy, play therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and parental guidance.
Prior to coming to Knoxville, I was part of a group private practice in northern Virginia that was coincidentally named The Family Center. I chose to name my practice The Family Center of Knoxville to always remember where I started my career, but also for what the name means to me as a clinician. In my work, I see my patients within the context of their world. Almost always, that involves exploring the patient's family and early relationships. For children and adolescents, my work typically incorporates working with both the children and parent(s). For adults, therapy involves exploring early and current experiences, family background, and other life influences. So for these reasons, The Family Center of Knoxville was born.
